Our spring band concert is this Thursday the 15th, at North Hardin HS gym. All bands will start rehearsing at 5 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6 p.m. We will be asking for a $3 donation at the door. The attire for the concert is spring dress clothes.
Next week we have our marching band parent meeting from 6-7 on Wednesday, the 21st, in the band room. If your student(s) is interested in joining band and you are interested in volunteering to help support these awesome kids, be ready to be in attendance to sign up. Additionally, we will be collecting the first $75 band fee payment and payment for the meal card.
On Thursday the 22nd, we will have our annual band banquet. By now, you all should have received a form from your student requesting you to RSVP by Monday the 19th. Please mark who will be attending in your party ($5/person), and what dish you are bringing. Due to limited space, we are asking that only the students and the parents to attend.
On Friday the 23rd, there will be marching band rehearsal and lock-in from 4 pm to 12 pm.
As a reminder, we have the fundraiser for picking up the polling results and we still need volunteers for that. Please reach out to either Jennifer Richardson or Yolanda Hill so we can get you on the list (Contact Us).
Lastly, if you are still in possession of a Derby jacket and tie, please bring it either to the school today at 5:30 p.m. or to the band concert this Thursday. I will get it from you after the concert.
